Thanks for sharing this story. Due to back and butt comfort and numb hands reasons, I too recently installed a set of Heli bars. While much better than stock, they are still not upright enough for me and I can't get comfortable with the reach and as a result the seat which I've also replaced (Saddlemen = waste of money).
My question for you is, sounds like you had the same issues? Can you elaborate? Did the heli bars remedy any of your issues? How much further back and up do you figure the Spiegler's are relative to the Heli Bars? Do you have any discomfort now with the final change (hand numbness, etc.)?
Thanks again for sharing. Very helpful to the rest of us that are dealing with the same bad ergo on this bike (damn Honda!). And for me, I may be a Multi Strada owner soon f I can't resolve this which is hard for me as a 13 year VFR guy and 20 year Honda engineer. :-(

Augo73, I wish I knew the exact numbers but it was HUGE to me. The old system felt like a Sherman tank in my hands and the Delkevic was just a couple pounds.
