There was this one time when I went to look at a 99 VFR. Kind of crapy pictures in the ad and it was way out in the boonies.
Once I found the property in question I was instructed to pull up behind and old bard out in the middle of a field several hundred yards from the dirt road :-0
I was a little nervous, but all fear departed when i spotted the VFR behind that said barn.
All good and that bike has been my brothers 5th gen for about a decade.

Fun stuff, I did some Ice racing in Woodland Park back in the 80's. We didn't use any of the tire/fender guards back then though.

Far freaken out Martina!!!!!!!!!
That is wonderful news. Mental is such a Major part of riding and plays a big role in the good or bad of our riding. Sounds like you took a great approach to it and on your own terms that seemed to do the trick for you.
The bad side of mental riding can take you down a very dark road as you know, but just the right experience can bring the pure joy and love of the sport back in full force. I'm very happy that you seem to have cross that barrier from the dark side, congratulations!!!!!!!!!!

Nice write up Elizilla.
STT seems to do a good job especially with the Novice group even though I have never been in the novice class, I have many friends who have. My first track weekend with them was last Nov. at Jennings GP in FL and it was a blast. I have many, many quick paced street miles so I chose to start in the Int. group, but was bumped up to the Advanced group before lunch.
I was honored and scared at the same time, but it worked out.
As far as dragging a knee I wouldn't really worry about it, I just finished my 17th track day since Nov. and I'm in the top 20% of the fastest riders in the A group and just really got my knee down for the first time at the 15th track day.
It's addictive and great fun, no wonder I'm always broke!
