Staintune high right side slip-on pipe. Very popular with a lot of VFR owners. Got it more than 5 years ago when they first started selling the brand in the US. Look up "CBT imports" in the web. I think they are still the US Distributors for the brand form Australia. Dunno how much they are these days, but I think it cost me about 500 dollars back then,OTR. Some find it a little loud if you take offthe removable tip baffle "spud", but I like the sound. Some compare the unbaffled sound to a small block V8 race engine. Very high quality pipe with high polish finish and flawless welds. :) Beck 95 VFR

Paint. Satin Black to match belly pan and Naca Duct black plastic. It slims down the look of the mid section of the bike that looks kinda thick IMO. Beck 95 VFR

  8. Instead of cutting up washers, you can make it easier by using steel auto body shims as sold in auto supply stores. They are "U" shaped steel shims that comes in a pack of differing thickness. I've had a couple stacked on my shock and have had no problems with them in the last three years of riding. I installed them with the open end of the "U" pointing to the rear of the bike. I don't think it makes any difference cause the shock retaining bolt is spec'd to be torqued down pretty tight anyway. I do check them once in a while to make sure that they are secure. I might eventually drill the ends of the U and string some saftey wire across the legs to make sure they never fall off the shock mount this summer. Beck 95 VFR
  9. I always trick my car's healight system to do this. If you will only pull on the high beam switch partially and not let it click. all your filaments, high and low, will be on. this will be noice to do on the bike indeed. does the VTEC have dual fillaments for all it's lgihts? you can have a fantastic flamethrower on the VTEC if you have all four lights with dual filaments on at the same time! You might have to install a second battery and uprate your charging system to do it though. What about four HIDs! Now I wish I had a VTEC to tinker around with for this. :D Beck 95 VFR
  10. Maybe pulling the air into the RR and fan motor will help keep the fan motor just a little cooler and extend it's life. If you pull it through the RR the air would already be saturated with heat by the time it hits the fan motor. It might be a very marginal difference though, because of the very close proximities, but anything helps. :P Beck 95 VFR
  11. Bravo! Red Mchine! That looks really slick. You might have established the best way to bob the VTEC's tail for the VFR world! Congratulations with finding such a great looking solution! Beck 95 VFR
