  1. WSS and all, sorry for the delay of delays. The gasket kit was ordered two weeks ago so I imagine it will be back together soon..... Pickup will be another story as my local connect may not be an option. Once I have my hands on the package, I'll update then. Yes, sorry for the teasers and delays.
  2. No worries. Just a bunch of other "world" stuff going on and this project has taken a back seat. Once I get it installed I will post up. Sorry to keep folks hanging, but life does tend to interrupt our best plans. Have a safe New Year.
  3. Craig is finishing up the small bits. I am eagerly awaiting the results now that I've swapped the PCV for a RB module.
  4. You won't need to break the OEM glass. I heated the housing up using halogen shop lights and gently popped the mirror out using a plastic scraper. Once the housing is warm enough, the lip holding the mirror in is easy to get under. I did this several times while mounting my volt meter behind the glass.
  5. Just got off the phone with Craig. Yes, we are in the last stage. Craig is completing the final head work, one bank is completed and he's final measuring the second. Once that is complete he will check the valves and reassemble. I hope to hear more in 2 weeks. Fingers crossed.
  6. One solid bottom base. There is a rubber bushing that you see in the pic.
  7. Stand by, let me snap a picture The base is that of a 5th gen
  8. I've not been able to adapt WERA's mounts to the GSXR mirrors without a fair bit of vibration. Can you confirm little to no vibration with DB's adaptors? If you find little to no vibration then I'm in.
  9. I spoke with my EBD who said he is working on the heads now. All other bits are ready as he is finalizing the heads.
  10. I've been testing several different mounting combos (w/-w/out rubber gasket) and I'm still trying to remove vibration. The OEM stalks don't vibrate. Once I find a solution I will post up.
  11. Craig, the EBD, has the RC45 head specs........
  12. CornerCarver you might just have something here. I have fitted one mount and with just a bit more fiddling it might just be spot on! Thanks for the mod help.
  13. A new in box TBR stainless header was sourced a few years ago and I have a PCV with autotune. I've modified a K&N filter that now takes up almost the entire OEM filter plate. I'm also looking into adding a scoop to add airflow into the airbox.
  14. Yep, all stock internals. I proposed to get lighter rods/pistons/etc... but Craig went through all of it and said Honda had everything just about light as can be. He said he could add lighter components but I would never know the difference. The gain only would be useful on the track/real racer....
  15. Craig thought the exhaust ports were poorly designed as they do not exit in a straight line from the chamber. If he had the shop he would redesign the ports.
  16. It is Saturday! I spoke with Craig (EBD) and he is busily working on the heads. He noticed how small the inlets were and said he will open them up a bit. He said the heads would be done in about 3 weeks. He does have the RC45 HRC specs for comparison. I'll ring him again at the end of the month. More as I get it. Jim
