I just fitted a stebel to my 99. I spent 2 hours pulling panels off, bending up various brackets to try and get it to fit.... So in the end I just zip tied it to the frame just above the radiator on the LHS of the bike. Snug as, and rock solid. *DISCLAMER* I have many years of experience doing half dodgy work with zip ties. YMMV.

I just ordered 6 of the lights in Amber. Should go nice with the yellow bike. I hope. Ha ha. I'll send pics in of the progress when they arrive. I won't be doing them for a few weeks yet, but when they go in I'll get snapping.

My last ones just sort of melted one day on the way to work. They became all sticky and stick to my gloves and fell apart. So I stopped at the nearest bike shop and grabbed the least shitty ones they had. These were it. I had some adjustable levers arrive for the '99 and also some clear front indicators. I was going to wait till I had all the bits and pieces that I wanted before putting them on, but the levers were such a simple job that I couldn't help myself. They are now on and look great. I have the OEM;s cleaned and put away and am yet to take it for a test ride. That may be tomorrow's job on the way to work.

Any word on why these kits are discontinued? I've been thinking about puting a kit on my wish list for in a few years once I get some money behind us in the house.
