  1. If I were betting, I'd blame the dealership for doing something stupid before I'd blame Honda.
  2. Sorry - I misread "panniers" as "fairings". Call Huntington Beach Honda for panniers. They're great to work with and often seem to have access to hard to find pieces.
  3. What color are you looking for? The US colors of red, blue and black are still available. Blue is cheaper and black is the most expensive. Some of the overseas colors are still available. Fowlers in the UK has a very easy to navigate site. https://us.fowlersparts.co.uk/ The exchange rate is bad for us at the moment, so the prices at Fowlers are high. I have found that getting the parts numbers for fairings from Fowlers, and then ordering from Japan works well. The site in Japan I have used multiple times is https://japan.webike.net/ Webike's site is a bit harder to navigate when browsing for available parts. That's why I find the part number on Fowlers and then plug it into the Webike site. Webike ships super fast and you have to pay extra for that. However, the exchange rate between the US and Japan is so good for us that the total price is typically reasonable. I have even found the price on some parts that are available at Partzilla can be cheaper when ordered from Webike and shipped over the Pacific. DHL is by far the best shipper they use. They are even sometimes the cheapest.
  4. Just to be perfectly clear - SubyRS - who are you calling racist and what specifically did they post that brought you to that conclusion?
  5. He's probably referring to your lights. Those party busses down there have them.
  6. Thanks for doing this and thanks for the good communication throughout the process.
  7. Strange that the Partzilla website shows it would ship in 2 or 3 days. Here might be another option. I've ordered a bunch from them in the past. https://japan.webike.net/products/24434772.html
  8. Why would you order the cowl from the UK when Partzilla has them?
  9. I completely forgot about the volcano grip option. I did the icon ones on my VFR and found them to have zero grip. I've had volcano on other bikes and they worked great.
  10. Those are from Stompgrip. I had them and pulled them off. They don't provide much grip and the clear ones are hard to get rid of the air bubbles that are created during install. I've found universal grips from other manufacturers to work better.
  11. Riding a bike with a full exhaust system is just a different experience than the same bike stock/and or with slip on. There isn't an easy way to explain it. Everyone I know who has gone down the exhaust modification path is happy and typically switch into exhaust purchasing and selection mode before buying a new bike. "I'm gonna replace the OEM exhaust on any bike I get, so there better be a full system I want (and a tuning option) or I won't even bother making the new bike purchase". A few years ago, I purchased a new 2019 Honda CB1000R. The stock exhaust was awful looking. Akrapovic makes a beautiful system and I have a local tuner with the skills and equipment to tune it. I bought the exhaust, the bike and had the tuning done. The newer CB1000R's have the same exhaust mine did and tuning has been a challenge. I would NOT purchase the new model due to that restriction. Many people have a shift in thinking once they have gone down this path.
  12. Once you switch to a full aftermarket exhaust system and get it tuned properly, you'll never go back. And you'll immediately modify all your future bikes in the same way. Nothing else will ever make a bike run so smoothly and sound so pure.
  13. The address you send payment to is vfrheaders@gmail.com. You might want send email to that address.
