Perfect track day at Heartland Park in Topeka, KS. Family came out, and I bumped to the Intermediate group and got a personal best lap of 2:04.92 -
TOD trip in June with brother Mike (97 Valkyrie). Fantastic rides for 4 straight days.

Also google "Anchor Bar Motorcycles" - a pleasant surprise to see so many bikes littered throughout the bar! -
Took the 2005 VFR with Brother on his 1997 Valkyrie. Trailered from KC to Dayton. Up through Detroit to Pt. Pelee, then Toronto, Allegheny Forest, Wayne State Forest, then back to Dayton. Great Trip!

Met Brother Mike in Wichita, then Ironbutted our way to Kingman, AZ. Left ICT @6am Central; Arrived in Kingman @ Midnight Central same night. Me on my 2005 VFR; Mike on his 2009 FJR. Bike was flawless and no problems. That was the start of a weeklong trip through AZ, UT, CO.

Still no encore yet unfortunately. Nothing will be happening next year because I am going to South East Asia for a while, but hopefully summer 2014 I will be expanding the trip and doing all of the US and a bit more of Canada. Enjoy SE Asia - I was stationed @ Clark Air Base in the Philippines back in the 80's - safe travels - looking forward to more blog entries...

Man - a trip like this - what do you do for an encore?!? I've done the Oregon-Seattle-Vancouver bit, but you took it to another level. My wife and I have wanted to hit Glacier - this will help push us to make that happen. Great writing, great photos - thanks for sharing!
