I just read and interesting comparison of engine cleaners, Seafoam is among the best. Techron is another one that worked great. -Tony

Looking for a good MAP or help with a PC5 on my '98 VFR899. Bike runs good w/o PC5 inline. I've done the Flapper mod, Eliminated the PAIR Valve, Removed the Snorkel, synced the throttle bodies, checked plugs. Check for vacuum leaks and injectors.
Some folks say PC5 will not work on a '98 but, there are several folks using them w/o issue. I have a hiflo air filter and a Micron High mount. No o2 Sensors on this model. I really want to get this resolved. Any help would be appreciated.

Any chance you can send me a copy of the Fuel Map You're using for your '98. I have a PC5 and Just cannot get the bike to run worth a crap. Runs better w/o PC5. I've been messing with this thing for months. I recently received a map from another member and it was slightly better but still not ride able. Thanks.

I usually get 40-45 MPG riding the mountains of North Ga. you mention you tried the Power Commander. Do you have a PC3 or PC5? I have a PC5 and it's driving me insane. I cannot get the bike to run decently witht he PC5 on line. (1998 VFR800). What Map are you using? Would like to pick your brain if you're running a PC5. Thanks. -Tony
