  1. Same here. Broke 2. Used channel locks (and a few expletives to assist with the process)!
  2. Your air filter lid isn't fitting properly. Do you have a K&N filter? If so, you need to remove the rubber O-ring from the upper half of the airbox (lid) to get rid of that nasty gap you have going on there. Veefer800Canuck, Thanks - Wow - yes, and wondered since I bought the K&N. Removed the o-ring from the upper and the lower. Fits now.
  3. Local auto stores didn't carry vacuum caps large enough. Opted for a rubber cap (also found at the auto store). 1/2" fit very nicely.
  4. With the warmer weather up here in central NY, I prepped the bike for the parts. I did remove the air box for easy access to the front assembly, although I suppose it would be just as easy to access from the front of the bike. Not sure I'll keep it like this, but I kept the short air box hose connected and blocked it off with a plug and tape. Here are some pics. Yes, that's a squash racquet holding up the tank :-)
  5. I also just ordered a set from Dan. Thanks for getting this going! Quick question - would you all recommend removing all the (soon to be unused) components (ie solenoid, hoses etc)? Or do you leave them there?
