GIven the instruction behind me that may well have been the lap where I hit the center stand and had a NICE pucker moment! :goofy: The "dip" in Turn 6 is pretty dramatic if you're not in good body position and ON the gas. Thanks for reminding my I have to get back to Laguna... :fing02: -

Well, given that he's the instructor and was providing me feedback and line suggestions I think it would have been downright rude of me. ....that and the fact that he can turn lap times in the 1:30's and I....uh....couldn't. :fing02: :fing02: -
Thanks! Man, I want to go back TOMORROW! If I could just somehow explain to the bank and boss that track riding is critical to....heck, world peace or something. ;)

Where did you get the rim tape? -
Given the propensity for rich-running engines to foul plugs, is that a potential downside of this mod? I did it to my 2004 and while the flat spot is gone, I can smell (and on cold days SEE) that my exhaust is "rich" smelling. While I was no fan of the flat spot, I'd hate to trade fouled plugs for it. Thoughts?

Got the two letters, called my local dealer and they made an appointment for today. Dropped off at 9:30, picked up same day. The Good: - Bike runs like a champ - No (observed) questionable work or "service dings" added - No problem at all with the warranty parts or service The Better: - My suspected faulty CCT was both observed and confirmed - Parts for THIS issue ordered and will be repaired under extended warranty :wheel: The Best: - Kids Toy Run tomorrow, have my bike and will not miss it! :unsure:
