GIven the instruction behind me that may well have been the lap where I hit the center stand and had a NICE pucker moment! :goofy: The "dip" in Turn 6 is pretty dramatic if you're not in good body position and ON the gas. Thanks for reminding my I have to get back to Laguna... :fing02:

You may want to work on body position...that lean angle is daring traction to fail.

I resprung the bike and it vastly improved clearance - especially two-up.

Hehehe...I was moving man, about 30mph on Stage or Gazos Creek Road near Highway 1. The pic was taken by Andy (the guy that runs South Bay Riders) from his tank-mounted camera rig on his GSX-R 1k.

Couple of questions...

It looks gloss black - but wasn't the 02 Asphalt? Did the exhaust require any special hardware, or was it slip-on? Did you powdercoat the wheels, or are those the newer silver ones from the 05 model?
