  1. Hope it works out. Let me know if it does not and I will dig out my clip ons.
  2. I can send you my stock clip ons from my 6th gen to try for free. If he likes them, we can figure out a cheap price. If not, keep them for the school and send them back when you find an alternative. They are just gathering dust now.
  3. As I get older, my prostate is almost always ready for a pit stop before my bike is.
  4. I decided that I will go with a Bazzaz simply based on their willingness to answer my questions via email. They also don't do the "correction" factor on their HP measurements. It is what it is. I have not bought one yet, though so I can't give you a review.
  5. Monk, do you have the Touring Lip or the regular lip? I have the touring lip and I really like it.
  6. I used a round ring like a key ring but smaller to attach my brake light switch to the pedal after I lowered it. With your rear brake dragging, make sure that there is still space between the bottom of the bolt you just shortened and the brake pedal. When I first lowered mine, I turned the bolt too far and it kept the pedal from fully returning.
  7. Nice resource. It makes me wonder how many of the filters on the list are made in the same factory of the same materials and have a different label slapped on it.
  8. IF you can get past the looks, the Laminar Lip Touring model is great for me. I am 6'2" and it is better than stock or the ZG sport touring shield. No buffeting at all.
  9. I have used the metal cast. Thanks for the heads up.
  10. What kind of paint did you use? Is it still holding up?
  11. This is confusing to me. My fan blows air from underneath the fairing to the outside of the fairing. It pushes air through the radiator rather than pulling air through the radiator. If I am reading your description correctly, it is going in the wrong direction.
  12. Am I correct in assuming that the fan pushes against normal airflow, then? I noticed that my fan pushes rather than pulls air. I had wondered if that was normal.
  13. The size and weight of the flywheel will affect the amount of engine braking.
  14. That was so awesome, I had to add it to my signature! It brought back memories of the girl in the STP commercial back in the 70's for me. Those were the days.
