Last January, Just above the city of Emmett Idaho, at a pull out on Highway 16. I bought this bike a few months earlier and it was in real bad shape. Tore it all down and went through most of the systems. I have a couple more nits to take care of before riding begins again this spring. Thanks for looking.

Looks like a 2M VHF antenna. I'm surprised not to see more of these in use for long tours. There are not expensive. HAM license is easier to get now. And a small handheld radio can reach about anywhere as long as there is a repeater in sight - 100+ mile range. I use one in my landcruiser for treks. And have thought about adapting one to my bike. But I have too many other things that need to get done first.

Paint is very nice. Well done. If I ever find a need to repaint.... I'll use yours as an example.
