  1. My '98 needed 3 exhaust shims changing every 16k up to 130,000 miles.
  2. Hi Skids, Thank you for your donation of 25.00 USD. We look forward to improving the forums with your donation. Thanks VFRDiscussion
  3. That's very kind of you m8 but i suspect the export /import and transportation charges would make it unfeasible.
  4. I am looking for a 00/01 VFR800 5th Gen to buy and if I can find one I would certainly be interested in a suitable VFRD header for it should there be sufficient numbers to justify another production run. What would be useful in confirming my wish would be to list what I might need to do to make the outlay worthwhile as 53 pages is quite a hefty task and some of the discussion is waaaaay above my head and I don't want to start something I am unable to finish with my limited spannering abilities. PC3? RB module? Any other engine mods? End can/muffler? etc etc Awesome work though guys!
  5. 317000 km? Surprised it actually still moved.
  6. This engine can be very economical when you are careful. On the other hand....
  7. It's just a question of getting used to it. I'd hate it if I had to go back to the old layout. Definitely harder if you you own 1 or more bikes of each design.

Yup! It was an article I read in Bike magazine over a decade ago that gave me the desire to do it. Christchurch Honda rent out the bikes. It HAS to be on every VFR owners Bucket List!

A truly memorable holiday, beautiful country, great people and a great bike to see it all on! North Island is next on the list.

    T'was a rental. Brilliant holiday.
  11. Well if Guhl isn't flashing any more, what difference does it make? If you want it flashed by Stef, you'll need to pay what he asks. Best way to find out is to contact him on Arsebook. There's a link in my sig.
  12. If he has stopped, there's always Stef (Sabsteef) who can do the same thing as Guhl, but remotely over the internet so you don't have to remove the ECU and post it to him. Link in my sig below.

  16. Damn you! I've been holding out this week and it's been so difficult with the great weather.

2 clean bikes (and 2 dirty cars!)
  19. Seeing as the equivalent Crossrunner topic has been closed.....bled the front brakes today and cleaned up the pistons. Fitted some Speed Bleeders whilst I was at it which made the whole process so much easier.
