Agree with you both.

They're huddled in their safe, soundproof cage, oblivious to everything except that which they may collide with in a couple of seconds and so react late, don't bother with indicators, pull out even if that involves you having to slow down a lot, utterly selfish and self-absorbed and don't give a damn about any other road user.

I commute 100+ miles a day, usually on the bike.

Every day I have morons who forget they have mirrors or indicators, have no lane discipline, believe tailgating is perfectly safe etc etc etc so yes, a bit of corroboration wouldn't go amiss and we're also thinking of riding to northern Italy this summer.

Annual service whilst she is off the road fir the winter. Plus fit new levers and a replacement binnacle as the PO made a huge scratch in this one 

Hi all, looking for folk with bike dashcam experience for recommendations.

I want both front & rear cameras, unsure whether 4k UHD is worth the extra, loop recording and bike-powered.

So far I've looked at Innovv & Viofo MT1 which is higher spec than the Innov (170 deg fov vs 120 deg) but is Chinese in origin (Innovv may be, I don't know) and I'm uncomfortable with purchasing from China.

Any others worth considering? Any experiences good or bad?

My point was that VFR800X IS a VFR, the clue being in the name.

Intercepter being a US designation,  I don't think any other country used it.

I'd love to hang one on the wall of my garage too but it doesn't include the VFR800X. 

I know it was never sold in the US but there are plenty of owners outside the US.

Yes, they definitely wear the tyres more than the roads here.

I've never had an issue with driving or riding on the wrong side, sorry right hand side of the road but that's probably because we are able to cross to Europe quite regularly. Bit harder in the US.

David Silver Spares are showing 6th gen shims available, albeit they're not in Europe any more. 

@Bren the RR is original. I have fitted a voltmeter and already have a replacement upgraded RR waiting in a box.

Just oil and filter this winter but I may decide to check the shims next winter.

PAIR system needs to be removed. 

I've always struggled to get the right vacuum levels and idle revs to be correct. Just get them as close as you can.

@Bren - sorry it took so long, starting on winter service next week. Here's a wip, not doing 18 month replacements (air filter) and right now I'm thinking air filter every 2 years. Also still tempted to take a look at the valve shims. I know it's only 9000 miles but it's also 22 years. Dunno.
