  1. Haha, I wish! No, it doesn't belong to me but the kind owner allows me to fly her......and her sister, XL600 when she is finished being rebuilt which should be sometime in July.

I think it's significantly better than both. The engine was the only thing about the Fi that was better than the Vtec and that is now "sorted" IMO. And all those aspects of the Vtec that were better than the Fi are improved too, except perhaps for the de-linking of the brakes.

    Better than both I think.

Indeed CC, it was just a test ride guys.

But if you own a VFR800, this bike has a health warning attached....this bike is dangerous to your bank balance! Everything the Vtec should have been from the start with some nice modern goodies thrown in.

    The perfect VFR?

  2. Since you ask the question....in an ideal world, you should perhaps have been a few feet further right (from photographers perspective), in order to get a fuller view through the right-hander. That would have enabled you to get on throttle much earlier because you had a better view of the exit.

But none of us get every corner right, and there's nothing bad in what you do there.

Looks like a pleasant road...decent tarmac, interesting views. Perhaps one day I'll get to ride that road.

    Ride safe.
