  1. I know I put this one on your other pic, but then I saw the title to this one and couldn't resist... Looking south toward Pike's Peak from the summit of Mt. Evans
  2. I actually traded the 07 for a new 2014 Deluxe in Aug, 2014. BTW, I'm also in Littleton...we should hook up for some rides this summer.
  3. That shot reminds me of one of my runs up Mt Evans years ago...

  5. I added an OEM quick shifter to my 2014 after a few months with the stock shifter. - does the quick shifter change the location of the gear shift on the bike? Technically, no, but it isn't the same as the stock shifter...2 things are different. 1. the toe part is a different design and feels different on my toe. 2. The arm of the quick shifter is next to your foot, so you feel it against your boot. I don't like either of those things, but I've learned to live with it. - does it change the way the transmission shifts with the clutch? Not at all. It basically cuts power to the engine for a moment, when it senses pressure on the shifter, so if you're using the clutch, you don't notice it. It works best under full throttle for clutch-less upshifts. - are you glad you bought it? Even though I use it quite often, because I generally ride very hard and fast, I'm not entirely certain I could say I am "glad" that I bought it. I like the idea of a quick shifter, but wish it came from the factory and used the same mounting and design as the original.
  6. You should...they just finished repaving the side from Idaho Springs to Echo Lake. The entire road is now clean, smooth and beautiful from end to end!
  7. Even though I prefer the red over the white, I really wish they would have used the Candy Glory Red from my 2007 instead of that standard bright red. There's a good chance I will have it custom painted to that color, during its life with me. If you've ever seen a red 2007 in person, in the sun, you would agree that it's the best looking red ever sprayed on a bike. The one thing I will miss the most from the 07 is all the compliments. Literally every ride I went on, someone would tell me how beautiful my bike was. Luckily, that has nothing to do with how it rides, which is awesome!
