You guys need to research the recent CBR1000RR, or at least the 2008 model. Power was restricted in first, maybe second too. A tuner named Bazazz (sp?) came out with a plug in device, much like you speak of, to derestrict it. Easily removed and put back to stock. A friend has one and is happy with it I believe. :fing02: -

I think you'll find it has good power, as is. Unleashing a little V4 music, yeah that's nice. I put Gen Mar bar risers on my '98, Jardine can a couple years ago because I got a deal. No other mods of note, I just wanna ride. :blink: Of course you can farkle the thing out with bling and $,$$$ if you want. :beer:

You guys need to try the electric go karts you can actually ride in. The ones I've tried on the indoor slick concrete floor track are pretty cool. Good sliding fun, although sliding is not the fastest way around. :fing02: -
Worst mod ever was my previous Yamaha when it was near new. Some a$$hole keyed the gas tank while it was parked outside my apartment building. :angry: I don't consider dropping the bike or crashing "modifying" it. I like the 1 tooth down in front mod. :rolleyes: Hate aluminum sprockets. I really like having a private garage.

My first thought was you're going the wrong way through the bowl, or reversed the image. But iirc they run that track both directions. Nice pic. :fing02:
