  1. So sad to hear about sfdownhill. I never met him but we had several conversations concerning Rapid Bike and the VFR headers. All my dealings with him were top notch. He will be missed
  2. Payment sent... Thank you again for you guys doing these headers!!

  7. Did anyone every figure out what exactly needs to be done to fit this on a 6th gen to a Staintune slipon?
  8. Lance, Please let me know when the next batch of 5th and 6th gens are geared up to be made. I'm def ready to pull the trigger for the 2nd run of these. Real curious to hear feedback from the guys running Staintunes on the 6th gen and how much of an issue it was getting the slipon midpipe to connect to the header (i.e. enlraging the end) Big thanks for getting these made. Nick
  9. No one has ever installed 5000K bulbs in the high beams before??
  10. Dash, I double checked the parts fiche and the 6th gen VFR uses a socket adatper on 33130-MAT-611 on the hi beams to adapt the bulb to the harness. My RC51 has the same part and I know H7 builds installed without any problems. I put a set of 4000K bulbs in it and they installed easy peasy. If you bike doesn't have those then someone may have been playing around with it previously?
  11. My 07 RWB has one of Tightwad's HID kits installed on it from the original owner. Love the kit. Question I have is since the hi beams are the original H7 bulbs they almost show up "amber" in relation to the bright white of the HID's. Has anyone installed 5000K 55w H7 bulbs in the high beam without any issues. I as not sure about additional heat since to produce the brighter bulbs the lamps burn hotter. I want to get the high beam color to match the HID's. Thanks, Nick

  15. Sounds like what I'll have to do. Better start saving....
  16. I looked at the honda catalog and it looks like the only difference I can find on the rearsets (quickshifter vs non quickshifter) is nothing. The shifter is optional but the kit for that only includes the lever/quickshifter module assy. I was hoping someone has used a 900RR or something set of rearsets to make it work. I do have an older set laying around and if I could make that work I'd be happy. Sato's are nice and expensive but I don't like having to go to a pressure switch for the rear brakes. A little leery about cracking open my linked brake system for bleeding but that's just me. Thanks for the info Rush... 8th gen rearsets for the optional quickshifter should work for Honda stuff... Sato rearsets for aftermarket.
  17. Has anyone installed a Rapidbike quickshift module onto a 6th gen? If so can you post up some pictures. I have the racing module on mine and was thinking about it but I figure I'll have to change the rearsets out for something with a linkage in it for the module. Not sure if I can do something with Honda parts or have to go aftermarket? Thanks, Nick
