  2. I like this idea, but a question, how thick are your extenders? They look to be about 1" thick.
  3. The 15th Annual Connecticut Miracle Ride will take place on Sunday, April 25, 2010 My link Help raise $75,000 for Connecticut Children's Medical Center's department of Neonatology and their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. How can you help right now?? Click this link My link and you can set up your very own fundraising page which you can email out to your family, friends, co-workers, etc. It's really easy to do and can be a whole lot of fun. The ride originated in 1995 with the first event, taking place in 1996. It was started by representatives from the seven Harley Owner's Groups in the Connecticut. Their goal was to raise money to help support the new Connecticut Children's Medical Center, which opened on April 2nd of 1996. The event would welcome the new children's hospital by having the riders surround the building in a symbolic "hug". The outpouring of support was so tremendous that it became clear the gesture would have to be much more than a simple "hug". Instead the riders formed a proecession, parading by the hospital, creating a spectacular site for the patients. With the support of area motorcyclists, over the past 14 years, Connecticut Miracle Ride has raised more than $350,000 to support the Connecticut Children's Medical Center and its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). None of this would have been possible without the generosity of the thousands of motorcyclist that have helped us make these dreams come true every year. This year's ride will once again follow scenic backroads from the start point in Newington to the celebration event at High Meadow Resort in Granby, CT. Special thanks to our presenting sponsors for the 2010 ride - Trantolo and Trantolo and Gengras Motorcyles. They have teamed to offer a chance at a $1000.00 gift certificate to anyone who pre-registers for the event. This gift certificate will be good towards the purchase of any item at Gengras Motorcylces in East Hartford. All people that pre-register will be entered into the drawing and the winner will be selected at High Meadow Resort at the end of the event. Also, we are pleased to announce that the band Shovelhead will be performing at this year's ride. Shovelhead plays a mixture of Southern Rock and Classic Rock and always puts on a spectacular show.
