  1. I'm going to be getting a cage for a daily driver pretty soon, so I won't need the veefer to be so touring oriented. I think I want to put more emphasis on the sport rather than touring. So I'm thinking, does anyone feel opposite of this? Does anyone want to trade their stock or aftermarket clip-ons for my Heli Bars. PS I paid about $300 for them so I'm thinking maybe stock plus $100 or so for my Heli's.

Does anyone want to trade a more sporty screen (like a double bubble or some thing more aerodynamic) for the Zero Gravity Sport Tour screen that I currently have? PS What about my Heibars?
  3. i would just like to say a few things... this has been one of my favorite threads up on vfrd for a while. there are definitely some awesome looking bikes on here. as far as weight goes id say ive probably droped about 40 lbs off mine. the stock exhaust is 28 mine is 8 20 lbs the stock header is maybe 20 id say the motad is 10 10 lbs the passenger grab handles are like 5 lbs and all the pair equipment evap canister and airbox shit together should weigh in at about 10 lbs thats all roughly 40 lbs there. plus i can easily ditch the passenger foot pegs, the dummy can, and the mirrors for at least another 10 lbs... the center stand is a bitch to remove though and doesnt seem worth the effort at the moment. what i would like to see is a titanium subframe. about as light as aluminum and about as strong as steel. best of both worlds...
  4. that bike is gonna run hottttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt. none the less, i cant wait to see some specs and bike in motion videos...
  5. youve got one of the coolest and most original vfr's ive ever seen... your going to dismantle it?! :fing02:
  6. thank you emerald :fing02: i was just looking through the thread at work and saw what everyone was talking about. i guess you have to been signed in at vfrworld at that same time to veiw it over here. sorry i dont really know how to use this site that well yet. :excl:
  7. so you have any clue why its doing that?
  8.  . You crazy bastige Cruz............ yeah i dont get it, if somethings fd up on the site or you guys are just trying to be funny. if you seriously cant see it go here: http://vfrworld.com/forums/attachments/mod...like-dyno02.jpg
  9. weird i can see it fine on both posts. but, thanks for fixing it for me. i appreciate it.
  10. This is about as close as I could get to a perfect overlay of my dyno chart on top of vfrworld member SCraig's dyno, with limited resources... (paint) lol Everyone seemed to agree that SCraig's dyno was a very honest stock run and it was on a dynojet dyno like mine too, so it looked to be a good comparison. All I have is a print out of my chart. I'm hoping AMR Superbikes will email it to me soon, or Ill just try and scan it into my computer and go from there. When I did my base run I was using the only map that I could find for a 06+ vfr with a motad and similar mods. It made 98.64hp and 52.21tq. After a few hours we managed to get 100.93hp and 52.93tq, but those are 101 VERY smooth horses now and an almost nonexistent vtec transition. Fuel millage seems to still be ok too. I made it back to Key West from Boca Raton(210 miles) on just five gallons. 42 mpg driving very hard not bad... Theres been a lot of talk about 5-10hp being about the max that you can bolt on to these bikes, and well that looks to be true... But, if you look at the area under the curve, it very is much improved. Oh well there's always headwork
  11. huh... I've had the evap removed for a while now, and hadn't really noticed anything. it seems like my idle is a little lower than normal and i don't have a cold start fast idle either. it idles around 800 when first started cold and then slowly raises to about 1200 when she gets hot. but i did the pair valve block and evap removal at the same time and i am not really sure which was responsible for which side effects. i had my bike mapped (with a pc3 not auto tune) and the tuner didn't say that he noticed anything funny, though i don't know if they'd know what to look for anyways...
  12. so have you tried to advance it yet?
  13. Yes, it is the equivalent of a Power Commander module. Mine is a RapidBike 3 Module, which has the possibility of on-the-fly change between two seperate maps. The link is below: http://www.rapidbikeusa.com/cgi-bin/shoppe...key=1146KRB3005 hey guys does anyone know whether or not the 6th gens ignition can be advanced? im not familiar with the rapid bikes, but im pretty sure with the power commander usb you have the option to add the ignition module where applicabe... are vfr's applicable? thanks
