The rad cap will raise the boiling point for you. 4 degrees for each pound of pressure. That means at sea level (since water boils at 212 at sea level), a 15 pound cap will raise the boiling point to 272 degrees. Note that in Denver, water boils at 202 degrees on an average day.
An easy way to get the nuts to stay up on the battery connections is to slip a short piece of vacuum line under the nut and leave it there. It will hold the nut up, and as a nice side effect, it will also keep the nut from falling out when battery is removed.
And don't put the blue LEDs in the turn signal holes. With the amber lense it turns green, and you CANNOT see it in daylight. You think it is a pain taking the front cowl off once? Put them in the signals, and you get to take it off twice.
