Your gear does not look very different from mine after a hooved forest rat KIA my first fifth gen at 65mph on I74 and but certainly less that again at 50mph 11 months later south of Duluth. I suppose you have adopted an attitude similar to what I did after that - GTBA - Glad To Be Alive (and Walking Around).
Good healing and riding from here on.

(Being infamous for my memory) I believe I have bought OEM paint (code R-157 for 2001 VFR 2 oz.) from PaintScratch dot com. Incline Village, NV 89451 (775) 831-9493.
At the same time I bought primer and clear coat that had their name on the bottles.
(Being a champion procrastinator I've yet to use them.)
Good luck.

Fabulous! I hope to follow in some of your
footstepstiretracks this summer. Thanks for the preview. -
Very nice. Thanks for the vicarious ride. I'm looking out my window at more than a foot of anti-riding white stuff, as far as the eye can see. It was good to get away for even a few minutes.
p.s. Lucky dogs!

There is another reason mt. goats hang around the rest rooms. They love to lick urine. I was told they are after the salt. So next time you are near a mountain goat, whip it out, take a leak and be amazed. If you are good, you'll have a friend for life, at altitude.

Hey, HS
The road north out of Vernal is one of my favorite places to visit. Never done it on a motorcycle though. A special road in the area is Sheeps Creek Canyon Geological Loop. Ever been on it? Hope to do this area on a VFR before I die.
Beautiful blog entry; enjoyed reading.

The same thing just happened to me. It really sucks bog water. I'm currently looking for old pics of members bikes I'd downloaded for desktops. There was this one of a RWB 6th gen in front of a mountain cabin in front of Longs Peak in Rocky Mt. N. P.
On the bright side my machine was nearly 10 yrs old. So now I'v got a i5, not quite as hopped up as yours; still it's like going from a Sopwith Camel to a F-18. Mine's from Puget Systems.
I also will have to do a lot of re-rides. Tough work! (Not)
