I like my Valentine 1 radar detector. I use it in the car and although it has been described as the "Chicken Little" of detectors, it has saved me many occasions. Last time I had teh honor of riding with Baileyrock, he was using a valentine if my memory serves me well. On a scooter the rearward capabilities diminish vastly because of the human torso blocking the rearward view. I love this detector!
