  1. Wish I'd have been aware of that when I got mine. That's the only uncomfortable part of the seat. The seams dig into my thighs.
  2. I googled it and it seems you can get it for a bit under $100.00 shipped.
  3. Just keep in mind, PETA never sleeps.
  4. Slammer - Can't you provide some better detail? Nice, and very helpful.
  5. Incredibly low price, and with more features than the Pazzos. I already have Pazzos, but would have tried these first if I'd known about them. Nice find!
  6. I ride all winter, but there are a few things I want to do: Finally installed heated grips today (Koso). Started installing the ScottOiler (touring version) I bought about two years ago. Kind of wish I never bought it but, since I did, I might as well install it. Shift kit still has to be installed (it's been sitting on the shelf for a long time). Need to remove the four Powerlet outlets I installed way back when, and replace the gauge cluster bezel I picked up used (the one I have has holes in it where the Powerlet sockets are located). Just don't need that many outlets. I have no idea what I was thinking. I now have just a steering stem socket. Everything else is powered out of my tank bag. I'd like to get my forks and shock worked, but am reluctant to take her out of commission for an extended period. Anyone want to make a few bucks and do this for me? That's all I can think of right now. P.S. I need to wash it. I've forgotten what color it is.
  7. Yes, this could be done. Let me know if you want one.....and whether you prefer to be shocked or just nudged.... Seriously, or are you just playing with me? I know you're the electronics guru, but this is really a viable option?
  8. That is a better solution in my opinion. I have picked up so many ideas from this site. What I have learned is that I should have asked for advice and opinion here before doing anything. Sure, the opinions would have varied from 'get a new frame' to 'blow it up' but I would have chosen your method if I had asked the question & got the reply. This is a fantastic site. +1! Where else can you find all of this wealth of experience in one place? I love this site!:fing02:
  9. To each his own... aesthetically, I think BLS's MrRC45 looks pretty sweet with a 3 spoker http://www.vfrdiscus..._5511_41329.jpg I like the look and, more importantly I would hope it would be lighter... I agree. The three-spokers look good. Easier to clean, too!

Nice! Sure beats I-87! Think I'll go that way next time.

That is one awesome photograph! Bravo!
  12. My Cardo Scala Rider intercom causes a tiny bit of helmet buffeting, but not enough to cause me to remove it from my helmet.

  14. I wonder if you could hot-wire your seat so that you got a jolt in the arse when you reach a shift point? Then you could keep your eyes on the road where they belong, and never miss a shift. (J/K, sorta)
  15. I mounted mine under my right fairing. On the road, my brother can't hear my Stebel when he's about 50' in front of me. Of course, he's getting older, been to way too many rock concerts in his youth, wears ear plugs, and is often oblivious to what's going on around him anyway. I love him anyway, though!
