Just added a Z/G touring screen. I'm 5'11" and this made a big difference. Wind just barely catches my shoulders and no more jacket buffeting around at freeway speeds. Did 550km on saturday, what a difference.

My local dealership installed standard valve stems which are too long so I had to take the cap off the rear to clear the caliper until the $12 valve stem comes in. The mechanic told me I will have to pay to them replaced because they are "Custom Wheels". WTF??? I told him they are stock wheels just stripped and polished so he deferred me to the manager on monday.

I did it all myself. Completely stripped then painted black the rough parts and polished the smooth parts. Plain old Turtle Wax polishing compund and a few hours and voila! Then some MOTHERS polish for the final pass. I am trying to find some Nyalic clear and then I will clear the whole wheel. Right now just the black is cleared. Until then I will be polishing on the rainy days.

Just stripped and polished a set of extra wheels I had. Something to compare with the silver.
