  1. Sweet! The RWB with white wheels is very sharp! And the Repsol model, love it.
  2. Just added heated grips, 12v powerlet, RAM mount, and wheel tape tonight. Changed oil, filter, and coolant while at it. According to other comments, apparently I'm supposed to burp my baby tomorrow morning after the coolant has settled... <a href="http://s424.photobucket.com/albums/pp323/ScotZ71/1a/?action=view&current=100_9103.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i424.photobucket.com/albums/pp323/ScotZ71/1a/100_9103.jpg" border="0" alt="12v outlet and rocker switch"></a> Sorry for the double link post, I'm still trying to figure out how to post pics within bulletin board rather than a link. So the 2nd one was a test. In process of working on bike, came across a strange tool hanging loose under the seat. No clue what it's for. Any ideas? It's the one under the wrench. <a href="http://s424.photobucket.com/albums/pp323/ScotZ71/1a/?action=view&current=100_9109.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i424.photobucket.com/albums/pp323/ScotZ71/1a/100_9109.jpg" border="0" alt="honda tool"></a>

Looks like 190 rear tire... I'm due for new tires, thinking about 190 option for rear. Looks cool, and maybe longer tread life, but I've heard potential handling problems. Wouldn't care if I had wheels like this on my bike. :excl:
  4. Update - I waited 4 mo to get harness (no rush here in MI, the snow just melted last week)... Took VFR in last Friday, thought I could pick it up Saturday, but dealer called and said part was damaged. They rush ordered another harness, received it on Monday, and completed the work on Tuesday. How can they get a part in 2 days when had to wait 4 mo for the first one? They did a PCV check as well, apparently there was a tech note on that. Service manager said the right low beam bulb burned out when they tested the job. But I see on the receipt they replaced both low beam bulbs. So I have the bike back and all is well. Service manager had 3 more VFR's to do after mine, said he'll leave my number and VFRD link for them. Scot '04 VFR800 :fing02:
  5. Oh oh... After waiting 4 months for the wiring harness, it finally arrived at local Honda dealer this week. Maybe too late... I've noticed my VFR turning over slower in last couple of weeks. This morning, it wouldn't start - battery was dead. Will look things over tonight when I get home from work, but I'm worried there is electrical damage to the charging system. Maybe I'll be lucky and it will only be the battery, but based on VFRD Forum, I'm skeptical...
