  1. From the album: my VFRs

This is near Genoa Bay, BC, about 40 minutes from home. Yes, the rear wheel is very dirty.

  2. I too have Shinzo Verge. They were less than $200 for a pair before installation. Lasted nearly 5k, still has some life left. Gripped well on the dry pavement. I do not ride much in the rain. I can’t say anything bad about these tires.

  4. U calling me a fatty? Nah, I didnot gain any weight in the 11 days trip. After day 1 in the mountains I considered spooning in a 175cc for next years rally. But after day 2 realised 150cc/7hp (on a sunny day) is more than adequate. Sure, Beemers, Laverdas, Triumphs would come blasting past on straight and level sections, but my 90kg bike, pretty straight steering and single seat with springs made for a very comfortable ride As for riding gear, my Goretex set (since 2018) performed flawlessly; as did my 6 year old (some 80,000km on them) Daytona GTX boots. My full leathers were perfect for the ride to/fro Spain . I did have to farkle a bit on the Biltwell visor on the AGV though. Upcoming draft was fine in sunny, 25C conditions, but in rainy/misty conditions high up in the mountains a drag.. Viva la Duct Tape!!
