Looks like a great place for a ride. Amazing how much it resembles so much of the terrain in BC, Washington, Oregon, and California where I've toured.

That's true Lorne, particularly the southern half of the BRP, around Asheville. Although I grew up (mostly) on the east coast, and have been a Californian for the last eight years, my very first overnight motorcycle trip was Eugene OR (proud SEHS graduate!) to Crater Lake, to Coos Bay, at 17 years old. I do see some similarities.
