Where is that?

Taken in South Queensferry, Scotland. Not far from Edinburgh.

Looking towards the Forth (rail) Bridge with the Forth Road Bridge behind.

Being a bit of a design geek - or geek in general - I've never seen a bridge like that. Looks beautiful and incredibly strong engineering wise. I'm also consistently amazed that other people with bikes JUST like the one out in my garage get to see so many cool things worldwide. Nice pic.

Construction started 1882 and opened 1890, a marvel of 19th century Victorian engineering. It's also a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Inspired the makers of the movie The Bridge Over The River Kwai :-)

I've worked for 3,5 years in South Queensferry, a semiconductor factory producing 64-bit CPU 's (a long time ago.... the palce is now used as a foundry... from cleanroom to dirtyroom)
