This is on Cypress Mill Rd. Cypress Mill is off of Farm Rd 962. To get there you go down Hamilton Pool Rd and stay to the left when Hamilton Pool merges with 962. This is a scenic short cut to Johnson City, TX from 71 in Beecaves (Austin). A beautiful ride! I've been down this route with some older road racer friends of mine, some on my own and with the wife. I can say with confidence that on one day (On the Viffer) I went over a few cattle guards at 80 MPH and on that same day I may have cleared one without touching it! Hhmm

Lovely photo - it is the kind that makes want to jump on my VFR and head across the country. Luckily for me I am heading to Colorado next month to see what we can see.

I actually think I've been on that road. I'm relocating to Austin next week, so who knows, we might see each other riding around!

I'll touch base with you when I get there. I don't know how long I'll be there so no need for a house. I may be there a week, a month, or a lifetime. I'm trying very, very hard to stop relocating.

That's definately the 3 sisters.

I've hit that chain twice, and both times I've noticed that sign and the metal fence/road bollard

I absolutely adore that road. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
