NAS Pensacola! Featured.

I've been there! Toured the whole museum, very interesting.

I was there at the same time they had the Oriskany moored dockside not too far away, finishing the preparations for the big sink!

Got fairly close to the Mighty "O" for a look. (not my pics)

Oh yeah! Tomcat and a man made reef. My wife and I are both Air Force vets and my daughter just had her going away party for the Army night before last. She's planning on flying helicopters if everything works as planned. Thanks for the awesome pics!

I see 2 symbols of freedom, the stars and stripes and a VFR.

The big metal thing is to pursue politics by non verbal means :-)

You have reminded me that I've always wanted to visit the Naval Air Museum. I learned ~30 years ago there is/was a W. Starling Burgess design/built amphibious biplane on display. The only one to survive, from very early 1900's. It was built in Marblehead MA; also the Burgess-Dunne Hydro-Aeroplane. Burgess, a sailing vessel designer pioneered amphibian aircraft as did Glenn Curtiss and others. If interested search his name and relations with R. Buckminster Fuller.

Thank you posting a great picture with a really good looking VFR.

Good fortune, R3~
