RWB 4th gen with custom laser twin can.

V4 Rosso

The paint scheme is not custom. This was a '95 special edition. I do not know how many were sold.

What would a bike like that cost these days? Woops. I thought that was an RC30. Very nice job. I'd buy one like that in a heartbeat.

Somehow doubt it is a "special edition" without OEM documentation as I've seen a couple of 4th and 5th gens painted like this, but I sure like it better than the usual red.

+1 what they said. The exhaust almost makes it look like a 2 stroke.

Just lacks the fat expansion chamber.

That's the best looking 4th gen I've ever seen. :) If I ever see one of those for sale around here, I'm buying it.

That paint job is just about perfect but special edition? Maybe by a local dealer but I highly doubt it was an official Honda design.

I disagree about the pipes. I think they look highly inefficient, huge, and thus cover up the SSSA wheel way too much. To stay with the rc45 theme, it needs a 4-1 left side exit. IMO. :fing02:

Hmm. Those exhausts actually look a bit short to me. Overall very RC45-ish, but the RC45 had black wheels...

Definitely not a Honda "special edition", which I would define as something like the "50th Anniversary" VFR800Fi or the Smokin' Joe's Replica or Valentino Rossi Replica CBR600Fs from earlier in the decade: The parts for these had their own part numbers and could be ordered from any Honda dealer within the region in which they were originally sold.

That said, various Honda importers and dealers have created many "special edition" paint jobs over the years and, if the appropriate documentation exists, these bikes can be worth some additional money if the right buyer is found. Just don't try to order a replacement fairing... :fing02:

Exactly right. This was a special that was created by the Dutch distributor and sold through the Dutch Honda dealer network. I'll post a pic of the '96 too that came in Repsol colors.
