So where is hwy 253? and this section?? Like to ride it.

Almost all of the roads/highways between hwy 1 and 101 are just amazing. Were talking race track smooth, cambered corners, amazing scenery. I just finished a 3000+ mile road trip to the MotoGP and back, I will have details of the trip posted soon. :beer:

I just got back from the Sierras myself. Coast was too hard this time with the fires. Highway 1/ocean or Sierras it is all good!!! One of my favorites is the stretch from the coast hwy 1 going north to join 101 at Leggett. Hard to pick a favorite though!!

I believe it runs between Boonville and Ukiah. I remember that stretch of road from when I was a kid, riding in the back of my parents' VW bus on our way to do some shopping in Ukiah.
