Twistedkeys
I'm attempting to diagnose the MAP sensor on my 2010 due to a MIL code, but to begin with, there's not even a hose connected to it. I believe it's supposed to go somewhere that creates a VACUUM??? Cheers!
Member Contributer Grum Posted October 23, 2021 Member Contributer Share Posted October 23, 2021 Sorry don't have a 1200 and the Service Manual pictures are fairly poor quality wise. Found this drawing, hope it helps. Have a very good look around the general area there must be a hose looking for a home near by! Are you sure you're actually looking at the MAP sensor? It appears to be located at the forward left side of the throttle body housing, unlike the 5th 6th and 8gen. (2) is the hose. (1) is the MAP Sensor

(1) is the MAP Sensor Thanks mate, had that same diagram (thanks Honda), finally decided to dig around in the vacuum hose collection beneath the throttle body, lo and behold, there was a vacuum tube I had thought was a drain tube, angeled perfectly for the MAP sensor, albiet tucked away. In retrospect, it makes no sense whatsoever why a drain tube with be directly connected with the vacuum system xD. Cheers!
