Twistedkeys
Perhaps this is already widely known, but it gave me some trouble so I thought I'd post. The VFR1200 (at least the 2010 F) uses a teabag type fuel filter located on the fuel pump inside of the fuel tank. Coming from an owner of many 80's bikes, this was surprising, although apparently it's very normal nowadays.. My filter was black, with many shards of metal attached to it, so I went looking for a replacement. This is hard because the OEM fiches don't even mention it as a part. In fact it seems you have to by the entire fuel pump assembly? That, and just finding the damn thing on the internet is hard. Or not... Thanks CBR1000RR! https://www.highflowfuel.com/quantum-fuel-pump-strainer-for-honda-cbr1000rr-2008-2016-replaces-16700-mel-013/ Cheers 🍻

They do sell items separately. https://www.highflowfuel.com/product-result/?ymmq=lk_motorcycle-scooter~yr_2010~mk_honda~dq_vfr1200~zp_efi
