MacGlennon Posted September 29, 2021 Share Posted September 29, 2021 I just bought a solo seat cowl off of eBay. When I put it on the bike, it’s perfect but for one thing. There are 2 tabs on the sides of the cowl, towards the rear. However on the bike, there’s no corresponding slots. This bike was repainted, so maybe the PO saw the slots and filled them? Or not all bikes came with the slots? Did owners have to cut them themselves? Are there special side covers that are slotted? Any help would be appreciated. If you take the rear off and look from below it will be very evident which is the case. All factory 4th Gen bikes came with slots because they came with the solo cowl stock.
