Removing OEM Honda alarm system from VFR800 '99

So I got myself a shiny 99 VFR800FI that comes with the stock Honda alarm system. Now, I am a big anti-alarm guy and I'm already tired of pressing the button on the remote every time I want to start it. How do I get rid of it? Thanks!

What's your aim? Do you want it completely removed or just disabled?

To disable, it might have its own fuse, or at least a power connection to your battery, just remove that.

You could then easily enable the alarm whenever you like, It may be a good resale accessory to have functional in the future.

"Alarm" is really not that. Whenever you press button, it sends back to Mothership all information about you, your riding habits and any non-Honda products you may have installed. Then Mothership acknowledges receipt and tells bike it can turn on. Why would you want to defeat this process? It works and all this data-collecting is for your own good!
