trmoyer
It’s hard enough at times deciding on tires as models change then throw in the mix when companys move where they are manufactured. The color change looks like poor heat control when molding the outer shell. QC of materials and process is unfortunately an issue. I could see a bad batch or lot but if folks are seeing it sporadically then it would be a concern to me.
Member Contributer DannoXYZ Posted July 16, 2021 Member Contributer Share Posted July 16, 2021 Seems higher incidents of QC issues are appearing on many traditional top-tier tyre brands. I stopped using Pirelly track-tyres because of sidewall cracks and delaminating issues. Doesn't seem to be any guarantees anywhere, just have to get them replaced under warranty when problems arise.
