VFR80025th
I am looking at picking up a 2015 VFR 800 with Akrapovic slip-on. Owner has OEM exhaust also. What I want to know is he has the DB Killer removed. I know the Akrapovic slip -on sounds like OEM with DB killer in. Is it loud with the DB Killer removed. Bike has only 2900kms Thxs in advance. LoveViffers
Took the baffle/db killer out yesterday and to be honest didn't notice much difference.
Bluehawk
I know its probably too late now [as you may have bought yours], but i'm collecting my September 2015 with an Akro slip on tomorrow, so i'll let everyone know my opinion/experience. This was a Honda upgrade (along with a quickshifter and seat cowl, to make it a Sport...apparently). I have a standard 2009 / 6th gen also, with their standard underseat exhaust, so i can compare the general noise. I'm not one for noisy exhausts as such, but from what i know (nothing!) i am not expecting the Akro to be thaaaat noisy :)

Mine is without baffle, and today on my first mini ride, thought it was a bit tooo loud for my liking. not excessive but heads turned for sure! i'll try to measure. a friend has a mobile app to measure db, and these sorts of noises. I'll come back when done...
