Member Contributer Philois1984 Posted May 16, 2021 Member Contributer Share Posted May 16, 2021 This bike is currently for sale in Australia. Looks stunning and sounds like a very professional restoration. While not original I wouldn’t mind it sitting in my garage.
Member Contributer Grum Posted May 16, 2021 Member Contributer Share Posted May 16, 2021 Looks bloody awsome Philois. $12,000 for a rebuild like that sounds very reasonable to me. The exhausts are magnificent, beautiful paint job. Sounds like a very thorough resto. Lucky you, its in Queensland........Go get it! Then you can ride it way down south to my place.! Member Contributer Cogswell Posted May 16, 2021 Member Contributer Share Posted May 16, 2021 She's a beaut for sure. If I owned it, I'd probably be very reluctant to ride it.
Member Contributer Dutchy Posted May 16, 2021 Member Contributer Share Posted May 16, 2021 Nice, but af the end of the day, she's a VFR750F. For that money I'd buy a VFR400R and have cash left...
Member Contributer YoshiHNS Posted May 16, 2021 Member Contributer Share Posted May 16, 2021 That seems like a lot of money for a stock VFR with paint, seat, and an exhaust. Over here a nice 4th gen is only $3k (USD), maybe $4k if really clean. A normal condition one more in the $2k+ range. Tyga exhaust is $1100. It does look pretty nice.
