moroseduck
Very quick question for you learned folks - will a 4th gen brake pedal work on a 3rd gen bike? My gear shifter and brake pedal have, as they seem to on many 3rd gens, got irredeemably tatty. I've replaced the shifter with the gen 4 alloy version, and there's a matching brake pedal on the bay for sale, but it doesn't look identical to what I have so I thought I'd ask before wasting money. Thanks in advance
Member Contributer JZH Posted April 18, 2021 Member Contributer Share Posted April 18, 2021 Not sure about the pedal itself, but the entire footpeg assembly swaps over. I currently have 4th gen footpeg assemblies on my 3rd gen. Ciao, JZH

Ciao, JZH How do those work as far as the metal fairings the locate off the tab on the stock 3rd gen footage mounts, or are they one the bike? Member Contributer JZH Posted April 22, 2021 Member Contributer Share Posted April 22, 2021 Oh, right. I no longer use the lower metal fairing pieces on my bike. Forgot about that "little detail"... Ciao, JZH
