VFR 800 RC46 1998

I am asking on behalf of a friend who has a VFR 800 RC 46 from 1998.

He has "only" 98 horse power and he would like to know if someone has an idea 

to remove this issue, so he afterwards has "full power of 109 horse power.

He has read somewhere that it is limited through the exhaust pipe or manifold, them

being narrower ? or has this been done elsewhere.

98 is not terrible, since dyno's differ and even the same dyno can differ a few % depending on air pressure, temperature, humidity.

And an operator no doubt can tweak a few parameters to make a customer happy who is looking to "UNLEASH THE FACTORY POWER" :goofy:
