Dangers of browsing bike sales too much.

Well this is what happens when you spend too much time on bikesales.com, you end up buying things!!  I have wanted a second bike for a little while, decided I wanted something a bit different from the VFR. Ended up buying this after riding my brother in laws Triumph America. About to head away for our wedding anniversary, in the car though or it will be our divorce weekend.  Will post more info when I return.
Enjoying it so far, have only done about 100km on it. I keep scraping the foot boards, a VFR it ain’t.

Congrats on the cruiser!  🙂  Looks like you could even tour on it.

I thought about adding a basic cruiser to the garage for a few years, and even as recently as this year.  There are deals to be had on lightly used models in great shape, especially non-HD makes.  I decided against it for now, but maybe someday.

Well, maybe you are the Messiah to be able to buy one of these and keep a marriage! Philois1984, you're a very naughty boy, don't dare get rid of the 8gen or we will disown you. Enjoy the new ride.....long straight roads ahead.! :tour:

Cheers.

Townsville is full of long straight roads, hence the cruiser. But don’t worry I am still keeping the VFR for the twisty stuff further afield. Married 34 years on 06/10/20 very special (tolerant) lady.

Loved the bike @Philois1984 Can tell me which saddle bad are you using? The leather looks quit rough on the surface. I hope they're not from Viking Bags

Not sure what you mean by rough on the surface, they are very smooth. They are Genuine Triumph saddlebags, they are not hard saddlebags so the shape is not totally even, but this is not a fault, just a characteristic of this type of saddlebags.EC1D818F-5ED6-47C6-8561-C5A617B5BF96.thumb.png.94bd37c9ccebbe99288e78c0c832f362.png
