Standard or Slip On?

Banksy

I’m getting mixed messages about the exhaust flapper on the VFR1200f - some say it rides better if you disconnect the cable that operates it or better still replace it with a decent slip on end can? It rides fantastic but low island speeds are harder work and I’m told it’s due to the back pressure? Any comments?

I have a DAM end can and simply removed the cable operating the exhaust valve. The bike is noticeably better and there are no detrimental effects from removing the cable.

No idea of the effect of just removing the cable though.

But get an end can.....the sound is............:wheel:
