I’ve always preferred sound technical advice to a coin toss but as you please. A fuse will not change how a malfunctioning circuit operates until it blows.

Yeah I know that I'm just want to ride it not mess with it too much 

6 weeks without a ride I'm going insane

Not having one's electrical system in good order can have real world consequences. I don't believe electrical was proven the cause of this incident from November past,  but it seems very likely.
