Bought in 2014 with 10,700 miles on her. Empty trailered to Virgina, bought from a pole barn, hauled to T-Mac where we found a rodent nest in the air box. (A pic was taken but I cannot find it). Too many upgrades to list but simply love this machine.

That's impressive mileage for six years!  I used to ride that much, and hope to again someday.  🙂

Anyone one else meeting their mileage expectations running a 30 grade???

Ducati's recommended oil. With 4 bikes I'm sticking to the dino for the Hondas.

I'm using 10-30.  I get 45+ mpg regularly.

Thanks Sparkie... I saved your photos for my next BITOG oil viscosity debate...

Bought my 02 wrecked with 200 miles on it, rebuilt it and rode the crap out of it until 2016.

No doubt Bailey miles are never in moderation... 100K Bailey miles equals 300K normal miles... I gather you're still running 5w30 Mobil 1???

I bought mine new April 2020, lockdown and weather has her at 700 odd miles still. First service done and waiting to tour

You know it Larry, thanks for oil your input throughout the years.

I actually just fired up my 6th gen last week after  4 years and it still sounds good!

Are you hoping to sell it on for $80,005? Because I think you might be disappointed.

Maybe in some foreign currency you could get 80,000 something. Name of the bike is "First Wife" you being a sane smart person like you are, do you think I would ever, ever sell her? Let me answer for you, NOoO : )

I bought my NOS 2015 DLX on Wednesday. I'm very pleased that it appears I will get many (s)miles out of it for years to come with proper care. It's difficult to adequately express my level of excitement! I put 460 of those miles on.

Bought the bike in July with 10,700 and I now have 14,600. Back in the saddle after 22 years absence; this is my 4th VFR after two 700s and an '86 750 in red-white-blue (the prettiest, but less punchy than the 698cc!).  Here's a surveillance photo, prowling around downtown Philadelphia.
