When measuring ohms you should not have power on the circuit. Make a test lead connected to the negative battery terminal, attach or probe the other end to the Green/Black wire at the back of the instrument panel. With power on see if this turns the LCD display on. This will confirm the ground wire Green/Black is good or not.

I test it like you said but lcd is not working.is it possible that cluster is bad ? Yes you might have an internal issue with the panel. Make sure you have 12v on the two Brown/Blue wires with Ignition to ON. Also check you have permanent 12v on the Red/Green clock power wire. Make sure the Green wire is properly Grounded. Do you have the Service Manual? You can download from the forum if you don't. You could remove the panel and check the PCB. Look for broken copper tracks or bad solder joints. Make sure all the incoming connections contact the PCB properly with no cracked joints. Other than that you may need a replacement instrument panel. Good luck. Iosnnis
I test all the wires that they are responsible for dead cluster and they look ok.tomorrow i will take cluster to specialist and if is worth the money i will leave it for diagnostic check and repair if needed. I found in usa a used one and for around €150 i can buy it replace it. I will see and i let you know.thanks

Iosnnis
Yes you are right about that. But does the cluster have settings for showing either miles or kilometres?

But does the cluster have settings for showing either miles or kilometres? Yes you are correct provided you purchase an E type panel. In Australia ours is the U type panel and it appears you can't change the kilometer to mile with a U panel. Only E type allows for that. Refer Owner's Manual. Member Contributer JZH Posted February 16, 2021 Member Contributer Share Posted February 16, 2021 And a US-spec panel might be (probably is!) different. Ciao, JZH
