MarkKendall
Apologies and bear with me - first post here. Hey y'all. Have a 5th Gen with 58k miles. Looking to sell to someone who can do the work or would like the bike for parts. I'm moving out of country before I can pull it apart to either fix or part out. I'm second owner and located in Austin, TX. Take a read - I can answer more questions via email. Had a small accident (truck pulled in front, avoided direct impact but givi cases bumpered off the truck, pinning front end momentarily under bumper of truck). Slightly warped / bent the brake rotor and likely torqued the forks, very very little damage to the fairings (see photos) - mainly where the left and right turn signals are mounted. This all happened a few months after Honda stopped providing OEM parts so insurance co totalled it. Bought it back under salvage title. Relatively minimal damage as the cases saved the bike but still needs to go to someone who can make use of the parts or do the work on the bike to restore it to it's glory. Bike runs but needs a thorough run through on the valves etc and obviously front tire / brakes / forks. Not safely driveable as rotor is warped and rubbing on pads. (You can see the abrasions on the front rim in photos) Has Givi rack mounts and a pair of older Givi Mono-key cases I'll throw in with it. As a bonus, I also have a Johnny Rack bicycle mount that I had fabricated a mount for the rack that bolted directly to the frame. Still have the original bolts / parts if you want to take off the bike rack and mount the passenger handles instead. Putting word out here in hopes that I can find someone to make use of it and save it from a tow. It's a great beast and would have loved to take it with. I've included photos and parts as much as possible. Please PM or email me (mark 1 multisports @ gmail) if you're interested and I can fill you in more on details. Make me an offer.
