VFR80025th
Looks like I may have inadvertently pulled on the cowl when removing the seat and broke the smalll plastic tab at the rear of the cowl.. Daaaaaamn! Anyway I guess my only solution right now is iIhave placed some gorilla tap under neath the rear of the seat and on the inside of the cowl. Should prevent the cowl from slightly moving up and down without the tab. The 2 sides clips are fine. An
jstehman
Same thing happened to me. Rear tab broken. It looks to me like the rear cowl/taillamp wiggles a bit up and down, pressing on the rubber feet on the underside of the solo cowl.. the paint is worn under the cowl at the rear and on the topside of the bodywork on mine. My first attempt to repair I had the tab. Second time it broke she was gone If you try to repair, get the actual abs plastic cement, not the one that does PVC also. It will be black in color. Now I'm thinking little Velcro tabs would work... The rear cowl is still available from Honda.. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
jstehman
Did the tab break off on the flat bit or flush off the cowl?Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
VFR80025th
I lost the tab completely unless its under neath the seat somewhere I will have to take another look. Broke clean off from the looks of it.
